Students do better in school when parents and other adults are involved in their education. Parent support and value of academic achievement is the number one factor in student achievement. We encourage you to be involved in the school, attend school events, and support your son or daughter's activities during their high school experience.
The Newberg Booster Club is a nonprofit organization consisting of parents, grandparents, friends, and businesses providing support to our athletic department and sports program. Through concessions and donations, the Booster Club provides much-needed equipment for boys and girls sports, as well as scholarships. The Booster Club also provides help in score-keeping and various supporting roles during sporting events.
Parents are welcome to attend regularly scheduled Booster Club meetings on the third Wednesday of each month at Newberg High School at 7:00 p.m.
Each year a committee of senior parents organizes a drug and alcohol free party for graduating seniors. Parents organize games, prizes, food, and entertainment. Parents also serve as chaperons during the all-night event. Grad Night is held at an undisclosed location and takes place immediately after the graduation ceremony.
