The Chehalem Valley region includes the communities of Newberg and Dundee and unincorporated areas of Yamhill County. The valley is surrounded by the Chehalem Mountains, the Red Hills of Dundee and the Willamette River.
Parks and Recreation
The Chehalem Parks and Recreation District provides a broad range of recreation opportunities in the community.The first nine of an eventual 27-holes of the new Chehalem Glenn Gold Course opened in 2005. Skaters from around the world test their skills at the Chehalem Skate Park in Newberg.

Situated on the south bank of the scenic Willamette River, Champoeg's acres of forest, fields and wetlands recreate the landscape of a bygone era.
