We are excited to bring back our in-person Registration Day prior to the start of the 2025-2026 school year! While we have not had an in-person registration day for the past several years, we believe there is value in making sure everyone is fully prepared for the school year prior to the first day of school. Below is some information describing what students and families will experience during Registration Day and will hopefully help answer some of the questions you might have:
What is Registration Day? To make sure all students and families are prepared for the 2025-2026 school year, we are going to host a Registration Day on Thursday, August 28th. Students and families will be able to come to campus from 12:00-4:00pm or 5:00-7:00pm to:

Take school pictures

Receive student ID card
-
Pick up parking pass and ASB stickers

Turn in off-campus form and receive off-campus pass

Choose a locker
-
Get help with StudentVUE/ParentVUE access, student passwords, and other tech needs

9th grade students will receive their Chromebook
Most importantly, students will receive a paper copy of their class schedule prior to it being available digitally via StudentVUE/ParentVUE.
Why are we hosting Registration Day before school begins? We believe that getting these tasks done prior to the start of school will allow for a much smoother first week of school with fewer distractions and disruptions to the school day. This will maximize student learning time and allow students and teachers to engage in academic learning experiences right away. Additionally, many of these tasks are designed to increase student safety, so making sure they are done by the time school begins is important. Student safety is always a top priority and we want to make sure we have all safety measures in place prior to the start of the school year.
Is attending the Registration Day required? Yes, all students are required to attend the Registration Day on Thursday, August 28th.
What if a student cannot make it? We understand that some students may not be able to attend Registration Day due to vacations or other previously planned commitments. Students who are unable to attend need to submit THIS FORM so that we can follow up with those students to make sure they get the information they need prior to the first day of school.

What if a student cannot get transportation to NHS? For students needing access to transportation in order to attend Registration Day, buses will be available for pick up and drop off at the following locations. The approximate pick up time is listed below for each location. All buses will then leave from NHS at 1:30pm so that students have 90 minutes to complete all necessary steps during Registration Day.
