Our School Office Reopens August 13th!

Welcome back, Mabel Rush families! We hope you've had a restful and joyful summer.

Our school office will reopen on Wednesday, August 13th. Beginning that day, our staff will be here to answer questions, help with enrollment and registration, and get you ready for the new school year.

 

Upcoming Dates:

• August 13, 2026 - School Office Reopens
• August 27, 2026 - Back to School Open House & Supply Drop Off
• August 31, 2026 - First day of school of grades 1 - 5.

 

Enrollment Information

If you have a new student to register, need to update your family's contact information, or just have questions about the year ahead, please stop by or give us a call once we're back. We're happy to help.

We can't wait to see our students and families again soon. Here's to a wonderful year ahead!

Kindergarten Gradual Start

To help our youngest students transition successfully to school, kindergarten will begin with a gradual start schedule.

 

• Monday, August 31, and Tuesday, September 1: Kindergarten teachers will meet individually with students and their families for family conferences. These conferences provide an opportunity for families and students to meet kindergarten staff, become familiar with the school, and help us learn more about our newest learners.
• Wednesday, September 2: Kindergarten students with last names A–L will attend school.
• Thursday, September 3: Kindergarten students with last names M–Z will attend school.
• Friday, September 4: All kindergarten students will attend school together.
• Tuesday, September 8: The regular kindergarten schedule begins following the Labor Day holiday.

Please note that final kindergarten class assignments will not be made until Friday afternoon on September 4. Information gathered during the family conferences and gradual start days helps us create balanced classrooms that best meet the needs of all students.

 

📚 2026–2027 School Supply Lists Now Available

 

Supply lists for the 2026–2027 school year are now available for students in Kindergarten through 5th grad, 🎒

 

💙 School Supply Support

The Mabel Rush Resource Room has school supplies and backpacks available for families who need assistance. Resource Room staff will offer supply pickup opportunities in August, and additional information will be shared when the school office reopens later this summer. ✏️

 

To request assistance, complete the request form linked in our profile. Requests should be submitted by August 21 to allow time to organize and distribute supplies. ✅
